NQT Induction Training

16:00 - 17:00 | Alec Hunter Academy

Our teaching school is an Appropriate Body for NQT Induction for both primary and secondary NQTs. Induction is an important bridge between training and practice that supports newly qualified teachers to build their effectiveness and improve their teaching. It also provides an important quality assurance measure for schools, pupils and parents. The annual charge for the Induction service for each NQT is £250 (or £90 a term). Secondary NQT Conference

16:00 - 18:00 | Honywood Community Science School

The methodologies used across the six conference sessions will be varied and aim to be responsive to the identified needs of the NQT delegates. Those participating can expect to take part in a number of taught sessions, make use of a range of facilities, interact and learn with experienced and recently qualified teaching colleagues and also to be provided with opportunities to study and reflect. Developing Teacher Programme – Primary

09:00 - 17:00 | Lyons Hall Primary School

This six day programme (one day per week) for teachers in Primary Schools covers key aspects of teaching and learning including challenge and engagement, starters and plenaries, questioning, differentiation and assessment. Developing Spelling Programme Day 1

Primary RQT Programme

Ensuring Success at KS2

13:00 - 16:30 | Alec Hunter Learning Village

A highly participative event for Y5 and Y6 teachers to discuss ways of ensuring success in KS2 SATs. Present ideas that have worked for you. There are three 3 - 5 minute presentation slots for each of Maths, SPaG, Reading and Writing. If you would like to present, choose the appropriate ticket "Share success in ..."
